Role Overview
The Payroll & Finance Officer is responsible for the full payroll cycle across the group, selected invoicing, and key bank reconciliations. The role works closely with the CFO and wider finance team to support accurate financial operations and cashflow coordination.

The Payroll & Finance Officer is responsible for the full payroll cycle across the group, selected invoicing, and key bank reconciliations. The role works closely with the CFO and wider finance team to support accurate financial operations and cashflow coordination.
Payroll & Employee Accounting
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process across multiple entities
- Prepare payroll calculations (salaries, deductions, benefits, adjustments)
- Execute payroll payments and ensure timely processing
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, Social Insurance, and local regulations
- Prepare and submit payroll-related filings
- Liaise with HR on employee changes and maintain payroll records
- Issue ad hoc invoices
- Follow up on certain outstanding balances related to these invoices
- Coordinate with the Collections Officer on tracking and communication
- Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Support cashflow monitoring and forecasting
- Provide payroll and other cash outflow inputs, including visibility on upcoming payments
- Assist in tracking and validating expected cash outflows against available balances
- Work closely with the CFO to support overall cash visibility and planning
- Post payroll-related journals and maintain supporting schedules
- Assist in the processing of vendor invoices
- Assist with audit documentation
- Collaborate with finance team members across payables, banking, and collections
- Support process improvements and ad hoc tasks
- 3–7 years’ experience in accounting or payroll
- Strong experience in end-to-end payroll
- Knowledge of Cyprus payroll regulations
- Experience with accounting systems (Navision an advantage)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a team
